This was just before the release of Oasis album "Standing on the shoulder of giants". I was at a bar in London with my girlfriend at the time. We had been there for approximately an hour when Noel Gallagher walks in the door. Being an Oasis fan for a very long time I was quite surprised when the man himself walked through the door.
My girlfriend convinced me to go talk with him. Having just one beer under my belt I must admit to being a little bit nervous. Trying to keep the conversation short I walked up to him and said "Hey man, I really like your music". We spoke for a couple of minutes and then I wished him good luck on their new album and went back to my girlfriend. It was a very nice chat and Noel turned out to be a very nice guy.
